Terms of Service

OuViTel Interface in Action

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account and completing onboarding, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance is confirmed by checking "I agree to the Terms of Service" during onboarding.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Definitions

Service: OuViTel™ cloud-based print routing platform.

Device: A registered printer or print endpoint.

License: A time-limited right to use the Service.

Trial License: 7-day evaluation period with full Premium features.

Best Effort License: No uptime or delivery guarantees.

Premium License: Includes SLA and webhook notifications.

3. Scope of Service

OuViTel™ provides secure API endpoints for submitting print jobs and monitoring printer status.

OuViTel™ does not provide printer hardware, drivers, or guaranteed print output for Best Effort licenses.

OuViTel™ is not responsible for:

  • Print quality or output issues
  • Customer network connectivity
  • Third-party integration failures
  • Data generated by customer applications
  • Customer infrastructure or device configuration

4. License Types

4.1 Trial License

  • 7-day free trial with full Premium features
  • 500 MB monthly data limit
  • Automatic suspension of access after trial expiration
  • No credit card required for trial
  • Manual renewal required to continue service

4.2 Best Effort License

  • Print jobs via HTTP API
  • No uptime guarantees
  • No webhook delivery
  • Service provided "as-is"
  • Email support within 48 business hours

4.3 Premium License

  • 99.50% monthly uptime SLA
  • Webhook event notifications
  • Priority processing
  • Priority support within 2 business hours
  • Service credits for uptime failures

OuViTel™ will make reasonable efforts to notify customers prior to termination, except in cases of security risk or abuse.

5. Usage Limits

  • 500 MB of print data per license per month
  • Usage measured by job payload size (actual bytes transmitted)
  • Exceeding limits may result in service suspension
  • Additional data can be purchased as prepaid credits

6. Payment & Billing (B2B & B2C)

  • Annual billing, paid upfront via Stripe payment processing
  • No automatic renewal
  • Licenses expire automatically at end of term
  • Renewal reminders at 30 and 7 days before expiration
  • No refunds for unused periods
  • Taxes are customer's responsibility
  • Invoices issued by Urimata Ltda. and processed through Stripe
  • Payment and billing records are retained for 5 years for tax compliance

7. Service Availability

Best Effort: No uptime guarantee. Service provided on reasonable effort basis.

Premium: 99.50% monthly uptime, excluding maintenance and force majeure.

Downtime Definition: Any continuous period exceeding 5 minutes where the core OuViTel™ API is completely unavailable to all customers.

Exclusions: Scheduled maintenance (with 24-hour notice), force majeure events, customer infrastructure issues, and third-party service failures.

8. Webhooks (Premium Only)

Webhook delivery is available only for Premium licenses.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Webhook endpoint availability and security
  • Signature verification using HMAC-SHA256
  • Proper handling of retry attempts
  • HTTPS endpoint configuration

OuViTel™ retries failed webhooks up to 5 times with exponential backoff.

9. API Usage

API access is intended for server-to-server communication.

Rate limiting and abuse prevention apply to all endpoints.

Customers must implement proper error handling and retry logic.

10. Data Processing & Privacy

OuViTel™ complies with LGPD and GDPR where applicable.

A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request.

Where end-to-end encryption is enabled, print data is encrypted at the client level; OuViTel™ cannot access customer content.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, logos, and technology are owned by Urimata Ltda.

Customers may not reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or distribute the Service.

OuViTel™ grants a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months.

No liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

No liability for business interruption, lost profits, or data loss.

13. Force Majeure

OuViTel™ is not liable for outages or failures beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Internet infrastructure failures
  • Provider outages
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest

14. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Abuse of the Service
  • Security breaches

Customers may terminate at any time by contacting support.

Prepaid fees are non-refundable upon termination.

15. Data Retention

Print job metadata is retained for 90 days for operational purposes.

Account data is deleted within 30 days after account termination.

Webhook delivery logs are retained for 30 days.

Payment and billing records are retained for 5 years for tax and legal compliance.

16. Changes to Terms

OuViTel™ may update these Terms with reasonable notice (minimum 30 days for material changes).

Changes are posted on the OuViTel™ website with updated "Last updated" date.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.

Jurisdiction: São Paulo, Brazil.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, Brazil.
